Bcm issues(?) after LED bar installation.

    Hello.

Ran into a problem when installing a LED bar on my Fabia yesterday. Installed the bar, no problem. Hooked up the ground from the bar and relay box to the battery, ran the + from relay box to the battery and connected into the white colored full beam signal wire at the left headlight. Routed a cable wrong around the battery area and instead of doing it over i unplugged the ground and moved the cable, put the battery back on. Finito.

Ready for test drive and first thing i notice is ABS, Traction and Steering wheel sensor lamp is on. No interior light, no turning signals and no wipers.

Checked all fuses under the steering wheel and 3 next to the battery. Measured voltage over all of the green fuses on top of the battery. Tried to read DTCs with my Launch diagnosis, but cant find any systems at all.

LED bar works perfectly. Tried to unplug battery again but does not help. Also Radio is locked, typed in wrong code 2 times so need to wait 1 hour...

Any guesses on what the problem could be?

If the Launch will not communicate with anything that suggests the OBD port has no power

True, i didnt bother measuring it yet but that seems logical. The steering column and interior light and several other parts of the car seems to be without power. I do not have a wiring diagram for the car but it seems to me the BCM might be faulty.

Problem is now solved. Disconnected the battery again, this time for a little bit longer time and when i connected it back on everything worked again. Frustrating that so many problems can be caused by basically nothing...
