Does anyone know what is actually supposed to be inspected on the annual service of a 2017 Fabia 1.2 SEL estate. The owners handbook simply states a service and oil change is required but does not give details of the service. The last annual service on this car was carried out by a Skoda main dealer but the invoice simply stated that a service had been carried out and listed the price of oil filter and oil. How is the car owner supposed to know what inspection is supposed to be carried out at each service, e.g when should brake pads be checked for wear or spark plugs renewed etc? Owner's manuals used to state what was required at each service interval, it seems that Skoda wish to keep it secret.
