You'll come in handy then Crasher! You're not a million miles away either! Hopefully the forum will fill up a bit over the coming weeks and months. Seems to be a bit of a ghost town at the minute.

It took me about 5 years to get the VW Forum going like it is and that's not huge either!

I guess the typical Skoda driver isn't likely to frequent a forum!

Can I ask, how active is this forum? It just seems quiet......or is that because skoda's are reliable??

Oh and I work in IT support and am waiting for my Octavia Elegance estate to arrive this week!

It is a very new forum and it takes a long time to build them up, it took me years to build up the sister VW forum to the level it is but yes, Skoda's are reliable (but not as good as they were) and also I think a lot of the typical owners aren't forum type people.

Hi crasher, I'm still a member of vwforum.co.uk as I used to own a bora. I'm currently selling my ford mondeo and the talkford website was really active.

I'm keen to make a few modifications to the Skoda so it will be good getting hints and tips from fellow members.
