The car is octavia 2014 TSI. engine 1.4 CHP.
Mechanic used locking tool.
After he finished i checked the values and notice that "phase position" is -13.14.
I checked on internet and some people saying that it should be tolerance 0+-5 degree.
Which is correct?
I don't think he has released the cam pulley bolts to allow the pulleys to sit with the new belt, these are one time only bolts as are the VVT sealing cap bolts and both O rings. If you don't do this the correct way you will never get the timing to be accurate and you MUST have the T10494 cam to cam alignment bar as well as the usual crank blocking pin
